Potomac Runners ("PR") is free, year-round fitness group that has been supporting runners since 1996.

Schedule
Saturdays
We run year-round on the scenic Mount Vernon Trail in Alexandria, Virginia. Run with a group or at your own pace and distance. Our general schedule and locations along with detailed maps are on the right or below. In cases of severe weather or trail issues, we may modify this schedule but we try to email everyone in advance.
Tuesdays and Thursdays
We also run year-round on the historic National Mall in Washington, DC. We start gathering at 5:45 PM at the north end of the US Capitol reflecting pool (Third St and Pennsylvania) and depart about 6:00 PM. See map on the next page. In cases of severe weather or trail issues, we may also modify this schedule but we try to email everyone in advance.

Participants in outdoor exercise programs acknowledge that running, biking, walking, or jogging with others are potentially hazardous activities. By receiving this waiver, you acknowledge that you should not participate in any outdoor exercise program unless you are medically able, adequately trained, good citizens, and kind-hearted.
Each participant assumes all risks associated with driving to and from the meeting point, exercising outdoors with others, using the bathrooms, and talking to others in the parking lot. Some of the risks you assume include, but are not limited to, slipping, tripping, falling, colliding with a cyclist, injuring yourself, getting sick, eating our snacks, and/or drinking our Gatorade.
